Your phone receives dozens of notifications a day. Most don't matter. My Messages sits quietly in the background, reads every notification, and keeps only the ones that are genuinely important — NHS appointments, family messages, bank alerts — in one clean inbox.
Listens to every notification from every app. Captures only the ones matching your rules.
Clear, easy-to-read inbox with colour-coded categories. Designed for comfort at any age.
Filter by sender name, keyword, or app. Set rules per-app or globally across all sources.
Get a summary of your important messages delivered to your inbox once a day.
A live unread count overlaid on your screen — visible from any app, always.
Automatically silence badge and sounds between set hours so you're not disturbed at night.
Plays a tone when a captured message matches an important keyword — so nothing urgent slips by.
See your latest unread message and count directly from your home screen.
Setup takes about two minutes. Once running, everything is automatic.
My Messages needs Android's "Notification Listener" permission to read incoming notifications. You grant this once in Settings — the app walks you through it on first launch.
Pick the apps you want to monitor (NHS, Gmail, WhatsApp, SMS…) and add keywords like "appointment", "prescription", or "urgent". My Messages suggests common ones to get you started quickly.
When a notification arrives from a monitored app that matches a rule, it's saved to your inbox. Nothing else gets through.
Open My Messages whenever you like. Your important messages are waiting, uncluttered, in large readable text. Mark as read, archive, or share — it's all there.
My Messages was built with older adults in mind — but anyone overwhelmed by notifications will benefit.
Large text, simple layout, colour-coded categories. No clutter, no confusion.
Set up rules for a family member's phone so NHS and important messages are never missed.
Never miss an appointment letter, test result, or prescription reminder again.
If you're tired of your phone constantly demanding attention, My Messages brings calm to the chaos.

Your messages stay on your device. My Messages does not collect, transmit, or sell your data.
All notification content is processed and stored locally on your phone. Nothing is sent to external servers.
If you choose to enable the email digest, messages are sent directly from your phone to your email address using your own SMTP credentials — or via an encrypted relay. You are always in control.
Uninstalling the app removes all stored data. You can also delete individual messages or archive them in-app.

No. You explicitly grant notification access during setup. You can revoke this permission at any time in Android Settings → Notifications → Notification access. Revoking it stops My Messages from capturing any further notifications.
My Messages uses Android's built-in notification listener, which is very efficient. It only processes a notification when one arrives — it does not poll or run continuous background checks.
Yes. Add WhatsApp as a source and set up sender or keyword rules. My Messages will capture matching WhatsApp notifications into your inbox.
